(UK) GOTH / SYMPHONIC METAL Vampyrouss merge grandiose orchestral compositions with a hard rock foundation to create a dark poetic narrative taking inspiration from Gothic Rock, Symphonic Metal and even Classical pieces to create their own unique sound which the band refers to as "Gothic Romance", an homage to the fabulous inspiration provided by the literature of the late 18th and early 19th centuries in England. Vampyrouss have aimed to stray as far as possible from the well trodden and mostly stale subject matter often found in the hard-rock/alternative scene, and instead take influence from writers such as H.P.
