(UK) INSTRUMENTAL METAL Second album from Cornish Instrumental Metalheads Valkyr. Formed in late 2006 by Anthony White, he was joined shortly after by Rich Butler-Lee on drums/percusion. Since then the band have had interest from various record labels and after only a few months found themselves nominated for the "Best Metal Band" award in the "Cornish Live Music Awards". Shortly after recording their debut album "Chooser of the Slain", the line up was completed with Guy Frazer-Wright on guitar and Rob Strookman on bass and are now gigging the county and fast building a solid reputation as an outstanding live band, they are looking to further their career by touring their next album across Europe between June and September of 2008. A unique blend of Metallica marred with progressive movements of say a Dream Theatre, all encaptured in a classical drift, enhanced by the fact that there are no vocals.
