(UK) ROCK / INDIE The Dirty Reds formed in 2007 and have grown in stature over the last couple of years and demo recordings, seeing the band already share stages with the likes of The Happy Mondays, The Thirst, The Tunics and have gigs lined up with ‘Super Group’ Domino Bones - Bez (Happy Mondays), Simon Moore (Stoned Roses/Ian Brown), Wags (Black Grape/Happy Mondays) and The Vortex featuring Paul ’Bonehead’ Arthurs (ex Oasis). In a time where most bands seem to be trying to create soft, romantic Indie pop a la The Kooks etc, The Dirty Reds take a much more honest approach in their sound. Rather than following the crowd and sticking with clean, jingly guitars and quiet introspective vocals, they draw influence from the Mod sound of the sixties and the Brit Rock of the nineties and everything else that grabs hold of you and provokes a reaction.
