(UK) METAL / THRASH Terrathorn are a thrash metal band hailing from Southampton. Formed in the summer of 2007 the band started building a name for itself locally opening up for bigger bands such as Municipal Waste, 3 Inches of Blood and SSS as they began to draw more and more of a local crowd. Drawing strongly from core thrash metal titans such as Pantera, Metallica and Sepultura the band have a fresh modern vibe of thrash and hardcore to there music, helped by inspiration from newer generation bands in the scene such as Killswitch Engage and Lamb of God and Municipal Waste. After shaping their abilities for over a year or so the band have gone on to play all over the UK with bands such as SoulFly and Black Tide including Bloodstock Festival and Bulldog Bash and are soon to embark on a European Tour across Germany and France in October..
