(UK) METAL Essex based SANCTORUM were spurred on by the great reviews to their debut EP under the monicker Devolution to enter the famed New Rising Studios with Mark Daghorn (Orange Goblin, One Minute Silence) to record their debut album. Originally released last year on Rising Records, the band then toured the country with label mates Mendeed. Their brand of aggressive meets melodic thrash metal is a cocktail of meaty riffs and great vocals. Intense, powerful and masterful guitar work brings another UK talent to the fore. The debut album, now available again through Casket is a taster for the second opus, due out next year.
