(ITA) METAL / PROGRESSIVE ROCK Born in late 2006 from a previous project called O.D.U. The turning point came in 2007 with the recording of "Ancestral Whispers" ep when the band incorporated a higher number of originals to their set list live. Meanwhile they join the Alkemist Fanatix Europe roster and start work on their debut album. “BeMind” a concept-album, based on an original story written by Ophiura, composed of 14 tracks of powerful, melodic sound. For this occasion, they are proud of some very special guests, more than "simple" musicians for the group: There are so many different influences in this intense work: Metal, Rock, Prog, Power, Gothic and Classical music. The songwriting and arrangement make Ophiura a band with several nuances and great personality that will strongly grow step by step. When fresh, powerful and genuine ideas join passion, dreams and dedication the result is this album, that make both the musician and the composition itself stand out and represents what Ophiura are today, both at the emotional and musical level.
