(UK) THRASH METAL Reforming originally for a Special Reunion Show in London, marking the 21st anniversary of their first show, Classic old-school Thrash Metal outfit Nightlord are re-releasing Nightlord's debut, "Approaching Thunder" from 1990 and a new release, "Cult Of The Moon" which has literally been 17 years in the making. Comprising parts recorded in 1993, and finished in 2010. "Cult Of The Moon" features four songs from the 1993/2010 session, "Dark Night Dance", "Twisted Out Of Mind", "What Have I Done?" and "Cult Of The moon", plus one song "Practice Makes Perfect" from a split 7" session in 1992, and a live recording of 6 songs recorded early in 1992 at London's Walthamstow Royal Standard.. Nightlord, who toured at the time with prominent bands such as Toranaga Skyclad and Paradise Lost, are best known for their appearance on "The Underground Titans Tour '92" during the summer of 1992 which also featured Gomorrah, Incarcerated, The Reign and Decomposed. Organised by Nightlord's Ferenc Collins and Gomorrah's Jose Griffin, now of Copro Records The Underground Titans Tour is still hailed to this day as the first true Underground-Metal tour,and received unprecedented feature space for such a tour, with both Kerrang and Metal Hammer alone dedicating several pages to the tour.
