(ITA) DEATH METAL / THRASH Named after a bandit from Greek Mythology Damaste hail from Brescia, Italy. Born in 2007, it was only a year later when they recorded their demo “The Crumbling Vaults of the 5th Sun”, that the band got some recognition for their brand of death-thrash metal. Hitting the road hard, the band toured all over Italy, with bands such as Node and Illogicist. And it was with Luca from Illogicist that the band chose to Produce the debut album for Casket Music “Five Degrees and A Prophecy”, MASTERED at the famous Finnvox Studios in Finland. The single delivers a real nice mix of melodic death and thrash that delves between the likes of Obituary and Death, with Cynic trown in for good measure.
