(UK) METAL / THRASH Callous are a four-piece melodic metal band based in Kent, U.K.Drawing influence from old school thrash and modern metal mixed with a European melodic edge, Callous have been terrorising venues around the south east since their inception. After the demise of Kent metal band Vialate. Callous was born in late 2008 with a the addition of drummer Mike Orvis. With this new line up, direction and sound enforced through their energetic live shows. Callous entered the studio in January 2009 to record their debut label release 'Descension' The Seven track mini album recorded at Escape Route Studios in London with producer Dan Abela (Silent Descent, When All Else Fails) showcases not only the bands varied song writing ability but also features pounding thrash riffs, huge harmonies, furious solos and a 3 way vocal attack.
