(ITA) METAL / CROSSOVER Backtheory are an Italian “crossover” band formed in 2009 in San Salvo (Italy). Their sound is strong and their enthralling music is in constant evolution, and though the word “crossover” usually, lazily has one thinking solely of rap-core or a primordial nu-metal, but the band sought to give it a more global meaning, specifically – to mould more genres starting from: punk, metal, reggae, hardcore and rap (that is - the more the merrier).This is in order to generate something new in each song, in a way to generate something which is unique.Their lyrics deal with important matters and are full of doubts and anger which are consequences of the corruption and hypocrisy of the society.
